The new sports hall was inaugurated on Sunday, March 30, in Nembro (near Bergamo), on the slopes of the Valseriana mountains.
The construction works took longer than expected, having taken about 4 years to complete; it stands on the fomer high school gymansium, demolished to make way for this modern structure equipped with a 400 seats grandstand.
The Nembro sports hall will welcome the over 20 provincial sports clubs operating in the surroundings, mainly in the areas of basketball and volleyball; in fact, the facility is equipped to host matches of the B series championships of these disciplines, welcoming both athletes and spectators in a modern facility. Furthermore, with our intervention, the sports hall is easily accessible to all users with any degree of visual impairment, being equipped with ground paths and tactile signage to allow everyone to orient and move independently within the building.
